Shipper ("we", "our", or "us") respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal data.

This Privacy Policy explains how Shipper collects, uses, and protects information when you use the Shipper macOS application and related services.

By using Shipper, you agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy.

Collect

Information You Provide

When using Shipper, you may voluntarily provide:

  • App Store Connect credentials or API information

  • Project names and project metadata

  • Screenshots and images imported into the application

  • Text content created within your projects

  • Support requests or communications

Information Stored Locally

Shipper is designed to work primarily on your device.

The following information is stored locally on your Mac:

  • Projects

  • Screenshots

  • Imported images

  • Text assets

  • Templates created or customized by you

  • Application preferences and settings

This information remains on your device unless you explicitly choose to upload screenshots to App Store Connect.

App Store Connect Integration

If you connect Shipper to App Store Connect:

  • Shipper accesses your App Store Connect data only to perform actions requested by you.

  • Credentials are stored securely using Apple's Keychain services.

  • Shipper retrieves application information and localization data necessary for screenshot management.

  • Shipper uploads screenshots only when you explicitly initiate a publishing action.

We do not use your App Store Connect data for advertising, profiling, or analytics purposes.

Purchases and Subscriptions

Shipper uses RevenueCat and Apple's In-App Purchase infrastructure to process purchases.

When making a purchase, payment information is handled directly by Apple.

Shipper does not receive or store:

  • Credit card information

  • Banking information

  • Payment credentials

RevenueCat may process limited purchase-related information necessary to validate purchases and restore access across devices.

Analytics

Shipper may collect limited anonymous diagnostic information to improve the application, such as:

  • Crash reports

  • Performance metrics

  • Error logs

This information does not intentionally include screenshots, project content, or personal text created by users.

Where possible, analytics are aggregated and anonymized.

Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information.

Information may be shared only:

  • With service providers necessary to operate the application (such as Apple or RevenueCat)

  • When required by applicable law

  • To protect the security, rights, or integrity of Shipper and its users

Data Retention

Most project-related data remains stored locally on your device.

Information processed through third-party services is retained according to the policies of those providers.

You may delete your projects and application data at any time directly from your device.

Security

We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information.

This includes:

  • Secure storage through Apple Keychain where applicable

  • Local-first project storage

  • Access controls and secure communication with external services

However, no method of electronic storage or transmission is completely secure.

Third-Party Services

Shipper may interact with third-party services, including:

  • Apple App Store

  • Apple App Store Connect

  • RevenueCat

Your use of those services is subject to their respective privacy policies.

Privacy-First Design

Shipper is designed with a local-first approach.

We do not require user accounts.

We do not operate a cloud storage service for your projects.

Your screenshots, designs, mockups, and project files remain on your device unless you explicitly choose to export or upload them through services such as App Store Connect.

We believe screenshot creation tools should not require unnecessary collection of personal information.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time.

Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date.

Continued use of Shipper after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated Privacy Policy.
